We are starting Summer off with a BANG! Returning to entertain our summer campers is the Science Wizard. I have seen him a handful of times and his show is always riveting…. and sometimes explosive!

Lunch is provided. Mr. Scott will be alternating between BBQ Hot dogs and Burgers. Lunch will be served with a side (usually chili or baked beans), chips, and a fruit or vegetable. If your child is a picky eater, please pack additional foods for lunch and snacks.

We will head to the park adjacent to the school and work on some basic soccer drills and then have friendly game.

Master Percussionist James Henry is part musician, part life motivator. His calming cadence and ability to capture the kids attention while taking us on a worldly tour of musical instruments is mesmerizing. The kids get to participate and play the instruments and sing and dance as well.,

We take MDUSD school busses to the century theater in Pleasant Hill to see the Pixar Movie ELIO. Children get a small popcorn, fruit snacks, and a drink.

We will play a variety of minute to win it style challenges. These games are great STEAM activities and are a lot of laughs as well.

We will take the children by MDUSD school bus to Rockin’ Jump in Concord. Its a very fun trampoline park. There are huge trampoline area, a foam pit to jump into and a dodgeball trampoline area. There are also rock climbing areas that the kids can use.

Germar the magician has been a part of our Summer Camps for a few years now. He has great magic tricks that I cannot even begin to explain

An exciting twist on the game of tag. We use flag football flags so that we can clearly know when someone is tagged and it also prevents injuries as players are not physically tagging other players.

We will travel to Chuck E Cheese via MDUSD school bus. Children will have time to have pizza and an hour of unlimited gameplay before returning to campus.

Jungle James brings in a variety of rainforest and jungle creatures and animals. The presentation is hands on and very educational.

We will watch an age appropriate movie and have popcorn.

We will travel to our Bancroft site close to Eagle Peak. We have a company providing the petting zoo for our children on site.

We will travel by MDUSD School bus and spend the morning and early afternoon exploring and learning about Zoo Animals.

We use flag football flags to play a variety of fun and creative games of tag.

We will play a variety of one minute challenges both as individuals and teams. These activities all have STEAM components like problem solving and fine motor skills.

Lunch will be provided. Due to Mr. Scott being on a scheduled vacation we will be doing a Nacho Bar instead of BBQ

We will travel via MDUSD school bus to Clayton Valley Bowl. We will bowl a minimum of one game and then return to campus.

The very popular shaved ice truck, SNOWIE, will be coming to us to deliver great shaved ice.

We will watch an all ages appropriate movie and enjoy popcorn, all in the comforts of our classroom.

We will play a variety of team tag games using flag football tags.

We will travel by MDUSD Bus to Dave & Busters. All our Dianne Adair sites will be on hand for this private event.

An excellent STEAM activity. Students work together to make a really cool lego brick build.

We will travel from EP campus to the Grove park in downtown clayton via MDUSD school busses. We will play in the park and playground and then gather together for lunch at the Veranda Cafe in Clayton (adjacent to the park)
